My Story

Sophia is a recent arrival from the Kingdom of Bahrain. Found dumped by the side of highway, she was rescued when only a month or two old. She was with an amazing foster family and learned to love the tennis ball! She won’t tire of the game of fetch, ever. Very sweet and affectionate, she is now adapting to life in Canada. She is very well loved by her foster family and was recently spayed. Sophia has regular play dates with a friends male dog and they are amazing together. Sophia is currently at a board and train so she can be more comfortable in public, learn manners and not be frightened of every new thing she encounters, which has resulted in some guarding. She, unfortunately missed out on all the critical socialization so need in that 3-6 month period, so is catching up on lost time. Sophia is very affectionate and bonds quickly with whoever pays her the most attention. She will make one active family very happy if they commit to ongoing training which will be provided by our training partner. So if you are enjoying a structured life, willing to continue to work with this amazing girl and want a running or hiking buddy, look no further than this deserving girl.
