My Story

Snowflake, a petite husky/shepherd mix, arrived from a remote First Nations community in Northern Ontario. Extremely affectionate, sweet and very people oriented, Snowflake is more shepherd like than your traditional husky. She is estimated to be three years old, and only about 25 pounds. Great with other dogs, and fine with cats, she will make a great canine buddy to a family. She loves a good game of fetch. Her foster mom reports that she is a very easy foster and so eager to learn. She isn’t a fan of crates but isn’t destructive when left in the home. Snowflake adores play time and there isn’t a dog she doesn’t want to meet and play with. She sheds minimally, has a coat like cashmere and is eager to learn. She hasn’t had much training, so will need further leash work but can be easily managed due to her small size. Snowflake would love a fenced year so she an get her zoomies, and her recall is very good. We feel it best if she were to go to a home with another canine buddy as a playmate.
