My Story

Reo recently joined us as an owner surrender, as his family truly had no idea how much work having a puppy was. We are still getting to know this boy and having him vetted, but we do know that he is very active, affectionate, and loves people. Extremely social, and great with kids and cats, Reo will require a family with another dog and a fenced yard. He is crate trained and is good throughout the night with no accidents. Thankfully his foster family works from home and does let him out several times a day so his house training is almost 100%. Reo will require some leash work and we are working on that, but his new family will have to commit to continued training and socialization in new settings. This boy missed out on so much the last six weeks and is making up for lost time. He does exhibit some separation anxiety when totally alone, but not when left in the company of other dogs. This shouldn’t be an issue once he realizes that he is home forever, gains confidence and is in an environment with structure and routine. Reo’s ideal family would be an active one, have another dog and a fenced yard.
